This extraordinary Bolivar Garcia piece is a carefully observed detailed ink on paper study highlighting the agriculture of the 80’s in the Dominican Republic. This work is not only meticulously crafted but it also depicts an intense observational character by the artist of the ongoing landscape, work and culture habitats of the time. This mid size ink on paper work was created over a period of time while living on the east side of the Island of la Hispaniola, known as Dominican Republic. This marvelous ink on paper details work is one of the most decrypted, showcased and sold pieces from a group exhibit in the Dominican Republic, and is hand signed and dedicated at the center of the weel on the lower right front side of the paper. This piece also includes the certificate of authenticity provided to the current owner, issued by the initial sellers, the gallery and artist. This work is framed in plexiglass with a black plexi frame. This acquired work has remained as part of a Dominican Private Collection, and has been placed on display for several group and institutional exhibits. This piece is available for private sales to select clients of ARTGALA LLC. It has no applicable Terms of Sales, and it is highly advised as a suitable piece to enhance an ongoing formal and serious blue chip collection focusing on Latin artists whose works show careful studies of the evolvement of sugarcane plantation and industrial work of the Dominican Republic. The work also highlights key cultutar elements, such as the early industrial railroads of the North East & East side of the island, the mannerisms of the human figures/ workers (obreros), the closeness of the rural home, and their weak architectural structure along the mountains that collide with such process, as well as the rich flora all around the industrial growth that, to this time, remais in strong similarity. This strong contrast of what is going on is what, aside from the detail, technique and time put into this amount of work, makes this so rich in concept and placement. This is not an ink on paper work it is an ink on paper masterpiece that has been extraordinarily preserved since its creation and acquisition. This piece is currently on display at DBL, Bella Vista, Dominican Republic as part of their corporate art exhibits and sales and will remain there until sales are made final.
This piece is in excellent condition.
